TSA, Technology Student Association, is a student organization dedicated to the promotion of technological awareness across the planet. All students are invited to join and participate in this club. Members of the club compete all over the state and nation throughout the year. At the competitions students display their knowledge and skills developed in the classroom by competing against their peers. Newkirk students compete in one or more local competitions hosted by schools across the state. Late in the year students that have placed in a local competition will compete in the state level of competition. Local competitions last one day and are attended by more than 400 students. State competitions take three days and over 250 schools attend. Students that place in the top two at state are eligible to compete in a national competition. National competition will last a week. Schools from all over the United States and the world compete for the national title. Check out the trophy case and see what we have done.
