Dear Parents and Guardians,
First of all, I want to extend an apology to anyone who did not receive their notification regarding school being virtual this week and next. The reasons for making the decision to go virtual was that both bus drivers were ill and numerous teachers and staff members were also ill - - not because I was ill. I do have COVID, but I am feeling some better. The main objective as always is to keep our wonderful students safe while continuing to learn.
When I saw that some of our parents had not received their messages, we did some investigating and discovered that our Messenger Company had merged with a new company and there were some glitches. Again, I apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this has caused you. As of a few minutes ago, we have changed companies. You will be receiving your messages from another source now and this should not happen in the future.
Also, the superintendent’s number is the one on the web site: 580 246-3448. Normally, either myself of Ms. Mahaffay are there to answer the phone. However, I have been gone this week due to COVID. The school’s main number is 580 246-3333, and someone should be there. If the phone is busy, be patient and try again. Or, in the superintendent’s office, you can leave a message and someone will get back with you.
Again, my apologies to anyone who did not get the message and hopefully that will not happen again.
