This is my fifth year in Indiahoma teaching Kindergarten...Love It! I hope to continue teaching here for a very long time!
I began my teaching career in 1989 teaching first grade in Palmdale CA. I taught there for 2 years and then moved back to my home stae of Washington and taught in Wenatchee and Cashmere as a sub for a year and the got hired on in a small town called Peshastin. Taught 2nd and 4th grade there. While there I met my husband and was married in 1994. He was an Army Recruiter so we were soon transferred to Lawton Ok where I took a year off and then went back to teach PreK in a private school for 4 years and then Army took us to upstate New York for 3 years. In 2003 we came back to Lawton and went back to teaching Prek for 10 years. In 2014 I decided to go into Public Education and found Indiahoma where I have happily been for the past 3 years and looking forward to starting my fifth! In total is has been 29 years of teaching!
My husband and I have been married for 24 years and we have a daughter Jinny who is 22.
My daughter is married and has blessed me with a precious baby girl, Adley, who will be 3 in November. She graduated from MacCarthur in 2014 and is currently going to Western inAltus and will graduate this Spring!
